Dr. Richard Livesay

Dr. Livesay was born and raised in Virginia. He is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University/Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry in Richmond, Virginia. Following his graduation, he was recruited to be a dental officer in the U.S. Navy, where he served on active duty for three years. One of those years involved deployment to the Mediterranean Sea while serving aboard the USS Shenandoah.

Once he completed active-duty service, he joined a dental practice in Williamsburg, Virginia and worked there five years, during which time he retained his connection to the Navy as a reservist.

After his time in Williamsburg, he became a partner in a dental practice in Fredericksburg, Virginia. He remained as an owner/partner in that practice for 22 years.

During that time, he and his family vacationed in Colorado many times, hiking, camping, and biking. His entire family loves the outdoors and grew to love Colorado from their many adventures out here. Several years ago, his two adult children moved to Denver. This spurred Dr. Livesay to sell his practice in Virginia and, along with his wife Karen, make the move to Colorado in 2018. They currently live in Evergreen and are enjoying mountain living very much.

When not seeing his patients, Dr. Livesay can be found mountain biking, hiking, and/or camping in the beautiful mountains of Colorado. He also has an interest in old Land Cruisers and is a member of the Toyota Land Cruiser Association.

Dr. Livesay enjoys practicing dentistry in an environment in which he can get to know his patients and offer them a high level of care. Dr. Bunchman and Premier Dental of Evergreen provide just such an environment. The size of the practice allows the doctors and staff to foster a true feeling of “a family dental practice,” in which the patients feel they are an important part.
